Sony unveils two new selfie smartphones

In a bid to woo selfie enthusiasts, Japanese
mobile vendor Sony has unveiled two new selfie-centric Xperia smartphones.
With a radically new approach, the company showed up the Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5. Both phones come with at least 13-megapixel shooters both in the front and the back. This is a change from what typical phone users and custuomers are familiar with, being the front camera not worthy of note acting merely as webcams with terrible output, and the back one carrying enough punch to snap actually decent photos with the front snappers.
The C5 comes with a full HD 6-inch display with the 1920×1080 pixels being pushed by a 1.7 gHz Octacore processor and 2 gigabytes of RAM, 4G network connectivity, an aluminum frame and a battery that Sony says can run for two days on a single charge. The M5 on the other hand is equipped with a front-facing 13-megapixel camera but a rear-facing 21.5-megapixel camera that offers a 5x clear image zoom feature. It also features 3GB of RAM and a 2,600mAh battery offering up to two days of battery life.
Tony McNulty, vice president for value category business management at Sony Mobile Communications, in a press release, said, “we understand that camera capabilities are important to smartphone users, so we ensured that Sony’s existing camera brilliance was once again surpassed in the new Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5 without compromising on other features across design and performance.”
