New Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez went straight to work after his unveiling on Friday, March 11.

Benitez was appointed as coach after the sacking of Steve McClaren with the club facing relegation from the Premier League 10 matches from the end of the season.

Benitez took over on an initial three-year deal while media reports said there was also an opt-out clause if Newcastle are relegated this season.
This is a return to the Premier League for Bentiez who managed Chelsea temporarily from November, 2012 to May 2013.
He won the Europa League with Chelsea after replacing sacked coach, Roberto Di Matteo.
His first stint in England was however more successful. Winning the FA CupFA Community ShieldUEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup between June 2004 and June 2010.
