Benfica training as they look to upset the odds against Bayern Munich in their Champions League clash

Benfica hold dreams of upsetting the odds when they face Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter finals on their
own patch this week.
And on Tuesday the Portuguese side were put through their paces by manager Rui Vitoria as they look to put their final touches together ahead of the clash.
Benfica showed their battling qualities to restrict Pep Guardiola's side to just that one goal in the first leg with Arturo Vidal netting inside two minutes.

It had looked as though Bayern Munich would run riot in Germany with the goal coming so early, but they pulled themselves together well and their defending certainly impressed Javi Martinez.
'They (Benfica) have one of the best defences in Europe,' the Bayern Munich man added. 'They defend very high up the field and are very aggressive and tight, which makes it hard to pass the ball.
But while strong in attack, Benfica's hopes could be dented by the absence of two of their attacking talents duo to both suspension and injury problems.
