Imo Assembly urges Buhari to probe sources of weapons - Herdsmen attack
The Imo House of Assembly on Thursday passed a motion urging President
Muhammadu Buhari to constitute a panel of inquiry to probe Monday’s Fulani herdsmen attack on Nimbo community in Enugu State.The House also called for investigation into the source of weapons used by the herdsmen in carrying out the attack.The resolution followed the adoption of a motion moved by Mr Arthur Egwim (APC- Ideato North).Egwim, who moved the motion under matters of urgent public importance, condemned the attack on Ukpabi Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani, Enugu State by the Fulani herdsmen.Egwim noted that human lives are sacrosanct and as such no one should be allowed to kill another.
